Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Fitness Director to join our team and help us achieve our fitness goals. As our Fitness Director, you will be responsible for leading our fitness team and developing our fitness programs. Fitness Director Duties:

  • Provide expert fitness instruction and certification of fitness instructors
  • Oversee the fitness facility, including equipment, facilities, and staff
  • Develop fitness program and initiatives
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new equipment
  • Create daily and monthly sales reports
  • Develop and implement marketing, promotions, and advertising plans
  • Investigate, manage, and resolve customer complaints
  • Analyze and respond to facility’s financial income and expenditure reports
  • Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations

Fitness Director Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, motivation, and oversight for supervisors and other staff
  • Coordinate with exercise consultants and personal trainers to set workout plans and ensure members receive proper exercise instruction and feedback
  • Oversee gym operations and maintenance, including hiring, training, scheduling, motivating, and motivating staff
  • Develop and implement a training program for management and staff
