Job Brief:

We're looking for a Food Service Worker to help us prepare and serve meals in our restaurant. You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing food, as well as setting up and maintaining the dining area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about food.

Food Service Worker Duties:

  • Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of food, such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts
  • Prepare menu items by chopping, peeling, slicing, and mincing foods
  • Serve food and drink to guests at tables
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area
  • Clean tables and equipment
  • Keep kitchen well stocked with supplies and ingredients
  • Salvage unused food, wrapping it in aluminum foil and placing it in a garbage
  • Salvage food and discard it

Food Service Worker Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prepared meals to customers
  • Clean and sanitize work stations, equipment, and utensils
  • Prepare and package meals, and set up food displays
  • Maintain work areas and equipment, including equipment inventories
  • Stock refrigerators and freezers, including stocking food, beverages, and paper products
  • Stock kitchen and supply cabinets, including replenishing paper supplies, soap, and cleaning supplies
  • Prepare food according to recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures, reporting safety hazards, complying with regulations, and observing company policies and procedures
  • Ability to serve customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand work procedures
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs or 50 pounds
