Job Brief:

We're looking for a Forklift Operator to help us move some heavy equipment around the warehouse. If you have experience operating a forklift and are available for the next few weeks, please let us know.

Forklift Operator Duties:

  • Perform the loading and unloading of freight
  • Lift, place, or pull materials, tools, or equipment of varying weight or size
  • Pass materials to or from machine
  • Push or pull materials, tools, or equipment of greater weight or size
  • Stack materials, tools, or equipment, using various lifting and grasping methods
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools such as saws, hammers, and screwdrivers
  • Establish and maintain worksite safety procedures

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

  • Must possess a current Department of Transportation (DOT) forklift certification (with at least two years of experience operating a forklift)
  • Ability to operate a forklift in close quarters
  • Ability to lift, pull, push, and position materials weighing up to 3,000 pounds
