Their job is to greet every guest and answer questions they may may have about their stay.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Front Desk Manager who is organized and efficient, with a strong focus on customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a front desk, and will be able to work well under pressure.

Front Desk Manager Duties:

  • Supervise front desks in hotels and casinos
  • Place, train, and mentor employees to ensure appropriate performance
  • Develop competent employees by evaluating their skills and knowledge, and providing them assistance or training
  • Evaluate employee job performance, and make necessary adjustments
  • Coordinate with human resources to maintain accurate employee records
  • Maintain employee discipline records, conduct employee orientation programs, and enforce company policies
  • Maintain a high quality level of customer service by working proactively with customers to resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain customer and visitor satisfaction surveys
  • Create and implement policies and procedures for employee compensation programs
  • Communicate new policies and procedures to employees

Front Desk Manager Responsibilities:

  • Familiar with office procedures and customer service
  • Experience in phone etiquette and dealing with difficult customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications
  • Ability to coordinate

Requirements And Skills:

  • Maintain regulatory compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Assist customers with check-in/out, room reservations, and information requests
  • Answer phones, direct calls, and route messages
  • Prepare and process invoices and bills for guestrooms, food and beverage outlets, spa, and banquet facilities
  • Process and deposit cash and credit card payments
  • Provide accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports to manager and other departments
