Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Health Coach to work with us to help our employees improve their health and wellness. The Health Coach will be responsible for providing guidance and support to employees as they work to improve their health. The coach will also be responsible for developing and implementing health and wellness programs.

Health Coach Duties:

  • Develop strategies for keeping employees healthy
  • Provide coaching and instruction to enhance employees’ overall health
  • Assist in resolving health-related issues
  • Develop and implement wellness programs
  • Monitor and assess employee health
  • Provide medical assessments, screenings, and treatment
  • Comply with federal, state, and local health regulations

Health Coach Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage a behavior change management plan based on protocols developed by Wellworks For You
  • Schedule and conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with clients to monitor progress and troubleshoot issues
  • Research and implement new programs to meet client goals
  • Attend quarterly meetings to review business metrics, discuss best practices, and plan for future health coaching and business development
  • Research, develop, and deliver new health coaching materials and programs

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health and wellness, nutrition, or related field
  • Experience with conducting health assessments and coaching
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition, wellness, and general health concepts
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a small team
