Job Brief:

HR Assistant Duties:

  • Conducts orientation and exit interviews; provides personnel-related information as requested by management
  • Provides information and assistance on employee benefits, recruiting, staffing, personnel policies, and programs
  • Plans, coordinates, and schedules meetings; ensures adherence to protocols and procedures
  • Produces reports and administrative documentation
  • Performs other duties as assigned

HR Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Maintain employee-related files, record attendance, prepare timesheets and payroll, process unemployment claims, and assist with hiring and onboarding, including interview setup, reference checks, and background checks
  • Manage employee handbook and HR-related documentation
  • Perform all HR-related tasks as requested by HR Manager
  • Maintain positive employee relations, employee satisfaction, and employee retention
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • 2+ years experience as an HR Assistant
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information
  • Ability to use multiple computer systems, software, and applications
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize
