  • Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and mediation

  • Advise management on human resource matters, including recruitment and selection, compensation, training, mentoring, and employee policies
  • Supervise staff
  • Evaluate and recommend changes or additions to personnel policies
  • Develop and maintain human resources information systems

  • Evaluate and report employee benefits to management
  • Liaise with government agencies and contractors

HR Director Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate all human resources policies and programs
  • Provide advice and guidance to supervisors and managers regarding all human resources issues
  • Hire, train, instruct, counsel, appraise, and discipline employees to ensure company objectives are met and employee morale is maximized
  • Evaluate employee work performance, recommending promotions and demotions
  • Provide employee training on organization policies, procedures, and programs
  • Assist in the development and implementation of staff training programs
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate all company’s compensation and employee benefits programs
  • Prepare and review all company’s financial statements
  • Identify and recruit qualified candidates from inside and outside the company

  • Manage all phases of employee relations, such as disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Conduct background checks and reference checks

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or other related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR and administration
  • Expert knowledge of federal and state employment laws and practices
  • Solid understanding of HR-related vendor contracts and purchasing processes
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
