In a human resource management position, an HR manager is responsible for managing an organization’s human resources.

There are essentially two types of managers who oversee human resources: generalists and specialists.

A generalist focuses on organizational recruitment, hiring, development, training, and retention of employees.

A generalist commonly works in an office environment, but may also travel to other locations.

An HR generalist often has a master’s degree in human resources, psychology, business administration, or other related field.

A specialist in HR focuses on a single area of human resources: compensation, benefits, payroll, or training and development.

Job Brief:

We're looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team and help us continue to grow. The right candidate will have a strong understanding of all HR functions, be able to work independently, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. HR Manager Duties:

  • Act as company spokesperson
  • Provide strategic policy direction
  • Develop, implement, and monitor human resource policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance, training, and counseling regarding employment issues to employees
  • Develop and manage the recruitment process
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records
  • Provide employee development programs and processes

HR Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring
  • Create recruitment materials, including job advertisements and website postings
  • Develop and implement recruitment and retention programs, including internal job postings, job fairs, and company events
  • Drive cohesive team culture by coordinating employee recognition and employee volunteer activities
  • Manage and track performance reviews and compensation
  • Manage company benefits, including employee health insurance and retirement benefits
  • Complete employee exit interviews and assist with employee terminations

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of HR management experience
  • Strong analytic skills, including ability to use and interpret data
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive
