Job Brief:

We’re looking for an Interpreter to help us communicate with our international clients. The Interpreter will be responsible for translating spoken and written communications between English and the target language. The Interpreter will also be responsible for conveying the tone and meaning of the original message while remaining culturally sensitive.

Interpreter Duties:

  • –Translate written and technical documents from one language to another
  • Assist in the creation, development, and maintenance of document and other training materials
  • Keep abreast of industry practices and regulations

Interpreter Responsibilities:

  • Attend and document in-progress meetings, coordination meetings, progress meetings, punch walks, and safety meetings
  • Travel to site locations daily and document all activities, including field observations, discussions with subcontractors, and interviews with workers
  • Research and document regulatory and industry standards and requirements
  • Assist with travel, equipment, and material procurement and inventory
  • Conduct quality control and safety inspections, and record findings on report forms
  • Oversee preparation of final punch list and close out documents

Requirements And Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of basic computing skills
  • Knowledge of proper business etiquette and telephone techniques
