Job Brief:

We're looking for an IT Administrator to manage our computer networks and systems. The IT Administrator will be responsible for installing and configuring computer systems, maintaining and troubleshooting network equipment, and providing support to users.

IT Administrator Duties:

  • Maintain current knowledge of current IT technologies and trends
  • Create and maintain project plans and timelines
  • Create and maintain documentation detailing IT project plans and timelines
  • Provide support for the development of IT policies and procedures
  • Create and maintain documentation detailing IT policies and procedures
  • Manage the IT operations budget and plan
  • Track, monitor, and report on IT projects and team activities
  • Implement IT policies and procedures
  • Provide recommendations to management regarding technology-related projects
  • Develop recommendations for IT investments
  • Manage and oversee IT vendors
  • Manage the IT help desk team
  • Maintain current knowledge in current IT technologies and trends
  • Create and maintain project plans and timelines

IT Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT infrastructure and operations including computer systems, networks, data centers, hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment
  • Maintain company's technical standards and security policies, and develop and implement improvements to IT infrastructure to increase operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee productivity
  • Oversee network and server monitoring operations, forge relationships with vendors and suppliers, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate terms and conditions
  • Provide technical support to users and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures
  • Maintain and resolve hardware and software problems, install and configure new equipment, and resolve end-user issues
  • Manage IT budgets, including vendor negotiations
  • Ensure IT policies and procedures are in compliance with applicable laws
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

  • MS SQL Server 2012 certification
  • 1+ years professional experience in database administration
  • Experience creating backups, restoring databases, and troubleshooting performance issues
  • Experience programming in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and SharePoint
