Job Brief:

We're looking for a Junior Copywriter to join our team and help us create compelling advertising and marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of effective copywriting, as well as a keen eye for detail and a knack for coming up with fresh, original ideas. Junior Copywriter Duties:

  • Build, maintain, and continually enhance a company’s portfolio and reputation by creatively expressing the brand through words and images through written and visual content.
  • Develop original concepts for content, create and proofread copy, and ensure consistent brand voice
  • Maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and across departments
  • Contribute to the creative process by helping define needs, offering recommendations, and assisting in the implementation of new initiatives
  • Demonstrate consistent, professional performance and commitment to producing work of the highest quality

Junior Copywriter Responsibilities:

  • Provide copy writing services for the website, blog, social media, and other marketing materials
  • Develop, create, and write original content
  • Research, keep up-to-date with, and incorporate current industry news and information
  • Monitor and respond to comments
  • Coordinate with content creators
  • Produce content regularly, and according to established deadlines
  • Ensure constant communication with marketing, publishing, and product teams
  • Research competitors, and identify industry trends
  • Manage SEO
  • Monitor campaign metrics to provide feedback to brand managers and copy departments
  • Partner with brand managers to set goals and determine the best ways to reach them
  • Assist with or manage daily marketing activities, including post scheduling, social media engagement, and email newsletters
  • Produce SEO-friendly content and meta descriptions
  • Review analytics data to determine the success of content initiatives and to inform future content creation
  • Assist with the development and execution of content creation and posting schedules

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, or Marketing, preferred
  • 2+ years of professional experience in writing and proofreading
  • Experience writing compelling content

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to read and interpret data
