Job Brief:

We're looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team and help us grow our business. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients in a variety of industries and will be able to build strong relationships with our customers. If you're a motivated self-starter with a passion for sales, we want to hear from you!

Key Account Manager Duties:

  • Maintain positive and ongoing customer relationships
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Identify existing business opportunities
  • Create, implement, and maintain all sales strategies, tactics, and plans
  • Maintain and manage customer databases
  • Develop and maintain effective sales processes
  • Implement processes for tracking sales performance
  • Maintain client data, financial records, and sales records
  • Track and fill sales pipeline with qualified leads
  • Establish and maintain effective daily communications with customers
  • Partner with other departments to ensure a smooth sales process
  • Substantial experience in sales and business development

Key Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate new client outreach and the implementation of new accounts, including identifying decision makers and developing presentations and quotes
  • Maintain existing client relationships and follow up with inquiries, complaints, and service issues
  • Maintain and update sales pipeline and forecast to ensure sales goals are met
  • Create proposals and presentations to win new business
  • Maintain collateral and company website
  • Execute prospecting sales activities including setting appointments, making calls, and growing sales opportunities
  • Manage recruitment and development of direct reports

Requirements And Skills:

  • 3+ years experience in managing customer relationships
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with the construction industry
  • Strong negotiation and sales facilitation skills
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships
  • Excellent relationship building, problem solving, and communication skills
