Leasing Manager Duties:

  • Develop and manage leasing activities, including leasing policies, procedures, and programs
  • Identify market needs and trends
  • Develop, maintain, and recruit leasing personnel
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of existing properties

Leasing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain leasing and property management programs for new and renewal tenants
  • Maintain or replace tenant profiles to include financial, demographic, and property information, and maintain building databases
  • Screen applicants for credit and background, conduct credit, criminal, and eviction checks
  • Oversee marketing, leasing, and management of commercial properties
  • Conduct property tours, negotiate leases, and oversee tenant move-in or move-out
  • Conduct post move-in inspections and provide 24/7 emergency service
  • Conduct regular property inspections, and review and approve work orders
  • Create operating budgets, and review and respond to tenant complaints
  • Make recommendations to improve property financials and ROI
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and vendors to fulfill projects
  • Oversee maintenance and repair of common areas and tenant spaces, including routine inspections

Requirements And Skills:

  • 3+ years’ proven experience in property management, real estate sales, or leasing; experience in affordable housing, multi-family housing, senior living, or commercial office a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of property management software
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
