Logistics coordinators are responsible for mapping out a supply chain’s movements across a network, making plans and recommendations for improving operations, and maintaining relationships with customers.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator to manage our company’s shipping and receiving operations. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that our shipments are delivered on time and in good condition. They will also be responsible for keeping track of our inventory and keeping our warehouse organized.

Logistics Coordinator Duties:

  • Provide logistical support for construction projects
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records
  • Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with potential vendors
  • Track and manage purchasing documents
  • Monitor and manage inventory
  • Oversee administrative paperwork
  • Establish and maintain effective lines of communication with internal project teams
  • Schedule, organize, and manage third-party employees
  • Ensure projects are completed on time

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Work with sales and operations teams to manage the logistics of project deliveries, including coordination of transportation, labeling, tagging, and inventory control
  • Manage vendor relationships making deliveries and reporting on-time performance
  • Perform administrative duties, ensuring paper and electronic records are stored, organized, and maintained in accordance with company procedures
  • Analyze and document loads, shipments, and billings, and oversee shipping and receiving of goods
  • Maintain and update project terminology and file types
  • Assist with organization of project record rooms
  • Provide general support for projects as needed

  • Analyze, track, and store small parts
