Job Brief:

We're looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of our facilities. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and that all repairs are made in a timely manner. The Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Maintenance Manager Duties:

  • Manage maintenance activities to ensure the efficiency of all units, buildings, and equipment
  • Promote preventive maintenance to reduce the need for emergency repairs
  • Review construction and maintenance plans to identify tasks and schedule completion, including preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance
  • Maintain and efficiently operate all equipment, tools, and vehicles
  • Develop, implement, and oversee maintenance and safety programs
  • Remove and replace obsolete equipment
  • Maintain building records for maintenance and safety
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
  • Supervise preventive maintenance programs
  • Work with contractors and other maintenance personnel to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within the budget
  • Complete required paperwork for maintenance activities

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, organize, and repair buildings, equipment, and grounds, including installation, operation, and preventive maintenance
  • Plan work schedules for maintenance personnel to meet company goals and excel in workmanship and safety
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including identifying, investigating, and correcting unsafe conditions and practices
  • Correct defects and deficiencies, including coordinating with architects, engineers, and other specialists, and hiring contractors and subcontractors
  • Maintain and update preventive maintenance records
