Maintenance Worker Duties:

  • Maintain property by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing building systems and fixing faulty equipment
  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Maintain building exteriors by cleaning, painting, repairing, or replacing structures and equipment
  • Decontaminate and clean contaminated areas
  • Maintain grounds and landscaping; inspect plant health, remove dead or diseased plants, prune, fertilize, and weed
  • Monitor air conditioning/heating and electrical equipment for efficiency
  • Maintain instruments, tools, and equipment
  • Arrange for snow removal, weed control, and other maintenance

Maintenance Worker Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and tear down the shop, making repairs when needed, including roofing, heating, and cooling
  • Assist with equipment repair and inventory
  • Maintain pathways, stairs, and walkways
  • Clean and maintain grounds
  • Organize large deliveries
  • Perform other routine tasks

  • 2-4 years’ maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical skills
