Job Brief

We’re looking for Manufacturing Technician to work on the assembly line. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Manufacturing Technician Duties

  • Enhance operations by researching and implementing new and efficient techniques, tools, and solutions that increase production
  • Resolve production issues by identifying and evaluating problems, developing solutions, and implementing changes
  • Assist other team members in resolving problems both small and large
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs and procedures

Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities

  • Produces standardized engineered parts and products by operating manufacturing equipment, following standard operating procedures, and meeting quality standards, including cleaning and lubricating manufacturing equipment, tending furnaces, and part assembly and testing
  • Completes daily production reports by recording results, using production control reports, and maintaining records; following production, quality, and safety regulations; and completing documentation
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements And Skills

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: plastics, metals, rubber and composites
  • Proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, materials and equipment
