• Use advanced mathematics to solve problems in theoretical and practical settings, such as engineering, economics, and business.
• Maintain awareness of current developments in the field by reading scholarly and professional publications.
• Identify appropriate mathematical models, data, and computational procedures to analyze data.
• Develop and evaluate alternative solutions using mathematical techniques.
• Use computer simulation software to predict, evaluate, or verify the performance of a mathematical model.
• Use mathematical reasoning, analytical methods, and computational skills for problem-solving.
• Formulate mathematical problems and explain their solutions in terms of a problem statement, its variables, and constraints.
• Develop mathematical models for optimal allocation of resources, and/or equilibrium of supply and demand.
• Generate, record, analyze, and communicate numerical data using computer software.

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematical science.
• 2+ years’ proven experience providing mathematical assistance to managers or scientists.
• Experience in solving complex problems and developing methods for interpreting and presenting data.
• Excellent communication and time management skills; ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
