We're looking for a Medical Office Manager to lead and oversee our growing medical practice. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a medical office, be highly organized, and have excellent communication skills. Medical Office Manager Duties:

  • Manage and oversee clinic operations, ensuring that all clinic staff is on top of their responsibilities and that all clinic policies and procedures are being followed
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and performance of clinic professionals
  • Ensure that clinic facilities are maintained to the highest standards
  • Manage and oversee all support staff activities
  • Manage clinic inventory, ordering medical supplies as needed
  • Ensure that the clinic is in compliance with all regulatory and performance standards
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of clinic staff
  • Develop and implement office policies
  • Ensure that the office is in compliance with all regulatory and performance standards
  • Ensure that the office is organized, functional, and free of clutter

Medical Office Manager Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain medical records in compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other state and federal regulations
  • Review and update medical records to ensure confidentiality is maintained
  • Screen and schedule patients for appointments, procedures, and other medical services
  • Interview, hire, and train medical and administrative staff
  • Recommend changes to improve operations, efficiency, and workflow
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical office administration or related field
  • 3+ years experience working in a fast-paced, high- volume medical environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance billing, and coding systems
  • Ability to anticipate and address medical office needs; excellent interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal
