Job Brief:

We're looking for a Merchandiser to help us with our inventory. We need someone who is organized and can keep track of our stock. This person will be responsible for setting up displays and making sure that our products are well-represented. If you are interested in this position, please send us your resume.

Merchandiser Duties:

  • Sell, promote, and advertise merchandise, including estimating quantities, recommending selling prices, and deciding merchandising policies
  • Stock merchandise, resolve customer complaints, and answer inquiries
  • Draw up sales reports, create work schedules, and order merchandise
  • Increase sales by maintaining current promotions
  • Monitor inventory, prepare invoices, and process payments
  • Maintain and update customer information
  • Keep records of all transactions

Merchandiser Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage store merchandising activities and strategies for all locations
  • Perform regular store visits to conduct inspections, measure product placement, and oversee maintenance
  • Coordinate digital image scanning and tagging
  • Promote seasonal and promotional programs
  • Identify and troubleshoot merchandising issues that reduce blind-spot sales while increasing store margins
  • Maintain up-to-date training records and action plans for all direct reports
  • Communicate with suppliers to coordinate sales and delivery
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures
