Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Neurosurgeon to join our team!

Neurosurgeon Duties:

  • Perform operating procedures, such as brain, spinal, and robotic surgical interventions
  • Support the development of new surgical techniques
  • Research methods and procedures
  • Provide consultation and support to other members of medical or surgical teams
  • Arrange and participate in continuing education
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

  • Formulate treatment plans for brain tumor patients, including chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, and prescribe medication
  • Refer patients to specialists, such as neurologists, radiation oncologists, and neuro-pathologists, as needed
  • Obtain medical histories and test results, and determine patient’s eligibility for surgery
  • Utilize MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds to diagnose lesions and plan treatments
  • Perform surgical procedures, such as surgeries on the brain, spine, eye, ear, nose, or jaw
  • Perform neurosurgeries, such as patients with trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm, pain in the extremities, or facial pain
  • Treat brain tumors with stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiation therapy, or chemotherapy
  • Advise patients on diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes
