Job Brief:

We’re looking for Nurse Assistants to help us care for our patients. You’ll be responsible for providing basic patient care, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures. If you’re a compassionate and caring individual with a passion for helping others, we want you on our team!

Nurse Assistant Duties:

  • Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and positioning of clients
  • Perform breathing exercises, provide emotional support, and help clients maintain personal hygiene
  • Establish and implement client’s care plan, including medication and diet
  • Keep clients on schedule, encourage clients to participate in activities, and assist clients in completing daily chores, such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information

Nurse Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assists nursing staff in providing a variety of health care services to patients, including cleaning and dressing wounds, administering medications, and changing bed linen
  • Prepares and maintains equipment and supplies
  • Assists patients with personal hygiene and grooming
  • Takes and records vital signs, temperature, and pulse
  • Record patient’s response to treatments or procedures
  • Assist in feeding and bathing patients and responding to emergency situations

Requirements And Skills:

  • Nursing assistant certification (preferred)
  • 2 years’ proven experience as a nurse assistant in long-term care facilities
  • Ability to function at an accelerated pace while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in use of electronic medical records
