Operations Supervisor Duties:

  • Manage and lead a team responsible for completing complex tasks in an efficient and profitable manner
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external contacts
  • Direct and monitor employees’ work, including resource allocation and level of performance
  • Create and implement schedules, procedures, and work instructions
  • Monitor, evaluate, and meet with employees
  • Regularly provide employee feedback
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures
  • Constantly monitor and manage day-to-day activities of employees

Operations Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Integrate with operations team and other team members to develop and maintain an effective and efficient operational structure, including process improvements and new product introduction
  • Oversee field operations, including staffing, scheduling, developing materials management, setting and communicating objectives, ensuring quality standards are met, and resolving problems
  • Partner with operations team and leadership team to develop staff, systems, and processes to achieve organization goals
  • Integrate into the culture of the operations team and organization
  • Conduct training to improve employee performance and company culture
  • Follow up on employee feedback, complaints, and performance issues
  • Follow up on financials, expenses, and payroll
  • Track and report on program and project performance

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or related field
  • 2+ years’ proven experience in an operations management position
  • Strong budget development and oversight skills
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
  • Highly trained in conflict management
