Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Duties:

  • Work closely with facility staff to provide personal assistance to those living with behavioral and other disabilities in group homes and residential care homes, and in independent living communities
  • Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the residence by sanitizing and sterilizing utensils, equipment, and furniture daily
  • Provide basic housekeeping duties, such as room cleaning, laundry, and dining-room preparation on a rotating basis
  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene and activities of daily living
  • Maintain proper documentation of all personal-care services
  • Update and maintain all required records

Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Responsibilities:

  • Prior experience as a PCA
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively
