Job Brief:

Photo Editor Duties:

  • Create and maintain engaging and eye-catching graphics for a variety of print and web-based projects

  • Design websites, brochures, and other marketing materials
  • Manage print and digital assets
  • Meet brand standards
  • Manage and motivate staff to consistently provide high quality work product
  • Provide constant feedback to staff to help them grow and improve their skills
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure projects meet brand guidelines

Photo Editor Responsibilities:

  • Procure, edit, and process visual content using photo-editing tools
  • Develop and maintain photo library and photo-sharing site
  • Provide photo-related support and assistance throughout the company
  • Work with creative team to determine project requirements
  • Document workflow processes and update photo library
  • Identify and report issues and inefficiencies that impact the project
  • Identify and implement photo-editing solutions
  • Provide technical and creative feedback to creative team on photo edits
  • Maintain photo library, edit site content, and participate in photo-sharing discussions

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in photography or related field
  • 2+ years of digital photo editing experience
  • Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent written communication and editing skills
