Job Brief:

We're looking for a Physics Teacher to join our team and help us inspire the next generation of scientists! Physics is an important subject and we need someone who is passionate about teaching it to join our team.

Physics Teacher Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee curriculum
  • Assist with classroom management
  • Evaluate lesson plans and their effectiveness
  • Develop grading rubrics

Physics Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Design and instruct a 16-week physics class, including pre-calculus, calculus, physics, and chemistry
  • Provide diagnostic, remediation, and enrichment instruction for struggling students
  • Prepare weekly lesson plans and monitor student progress using student-tested, standards-aligned assessments
  • Write and grade tests and quizzes-Attend parent-teacher conferences
  • Conduct classroom observations and meet with parents
  • Advise students on academic choices and extracurricular opportunities
  • Develop action plans for students who are falling behind
