We’re looking for a Policy Analyst to help us assess and develop policies that will improve our organization. Policy Analyst Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and manage company policies related to all aspects of the company’s operations
  • Develop, implement, and manage operational procedures, policies, and guidelines that incorporate best practices
  • Serve as primary liaison between employees and management
  • Conduct research to identify and implement changes to policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Provide training and guidance to internal departments
  • Serve as primary liaison between company and government agencies
  • Improve company’s process efficiency
  • Develop and implement forest management plans
  • Manage company’s environmental footprint
  • Develop and evaluate environmental strategies
  • Develop and implement environmental policies
  • Manage company’s environmental impact reports

  • Implement energy efficiency strategies
  • Manage company’s sustainability reporting initiatives

Policy Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Assess policies, procedures, and risk management issues to determine their importance, usefulness, and areas of improvement
  • Obtain feedback from employees on policies, procedures, and programs, and report on analysis to management
  • Analyze data and trends to identify and correct trends and correct problem areas
  • Conduct research of regulatory and legislative changes and provide recommendations to management
  • Conduct analysis to identify trends regarding compensation, benefits, and incentives
  • Assist with risk management and compliance reviews
  • Handle matters which may arise between subordinates and managers, and in resolving conflicts
  • Take proactive steps to prevent workplace disputes

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, public policy, finance, or a related field
  • Previous experience in analyzing and interpreting data, and preparing reports
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with multiple parties
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
