Pricing Analyst Job Description

Pricing analysts are employees who work for businesses that provide pricing services.

Pricing analysts use pricing principles to propose prices that a company believes will end in maximum profit.

They evaluate the demand and market conditions of a product, and then propose an appropriate price based on those factors.

Pricing analysts collaborate with internal departments when deciding if a product should be priced high or low.

Pricing analysts may also collaborate with external business partners, such as vendors or customers, to develop pricing proposals.
