Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Prison Warden to lead and manage our prison facility. The Warden will be responsible for the safety and security of the prisoners and staff, as well as the day-to-day operations of the prison. Prison Warden Duties:

  • Maintain safety within the correctional facility by establishing safety policies, creating safety campaigns, and enforcing safety rules
  • Provide leadership and direction to correctional staff
  • Oversee all property, grounds, and upkeep of the facility
  • Ensure that facilities and equipment are well maintained
  • Oversee continuing education of correctional staff
  • Oversee hiring and disciplining of correctional staff

  • Develop and implement new policies

Prison Warden Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of state and federal laws governing corrections and incarceration

  • Knowledge of training and experience requirements for corrections
