We’re looking for a Probation Officer to work in our busy office. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising offenders on probation and ensuring they comply with the terms of their probation. Probation Officer Duties:

  • Assist in correcting, rehabilitating, or releasing offenders
  • Evaluate the risk factors of the individual

  • Ensure that participants comply with all requirements
  • Cooperate with supervisors, coworkers, and clients

  • Develop and implement participant retention strategies
  • Perform administrative support, including data entry and reporting, database management, and program evaluation
  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained, including proper documentation of all case management activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, counseling, psychology, or related field
  • 2+ years experience in a law enforcement or supervision role
  • Proven ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of individuals
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
