Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Process Executive to lead and manage our company’s process improvement initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement, designing and implementing process improvement solutions, and measuring the impact of these solutions. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining process improvement tools and templates, and training and coaching other team members in process improvement techniques. Process Executive Duties:

  • Coordinate activities across departments, including manufacturing, product development, purchasing, customer service, and logistics
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify areas of opportunity and formulate action plans
  • Identify, develop, and implement new process improvements
  • Develop SOP’s for routine tasks
  • Develop and implement new technologies
  • Develop and comply with company policies and procedures
  • Coordinate material flow
  • Track production inventory and warehousing
  • Oversee testing
  • Develop and implement new operating procedures
  • Provide leadership to managers/subordinates

Process Executive Responsibilities:

  • Maintain access to, and knowledge of, all company procedures, requirements, and policies, while ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
  • Manage the overall work flow process, adding, removing, or changing flow processes, work instructions, and work steps as needed, and resolving any discrepancies between input flows and outputs
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve specific issues and determine root causes
  • Decide where process improvements can be made based on feedback from quality, safety, and other departments
  • Assist in identifying and resolving process workflow issues, including determining root causes
  • Identify process bottlenecks and suggest solutions
  • Identify and automate manual processes
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instruction

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management, or related field
  • 2+ years in process engineering, manufacturing, or project management
  • Knowledge of Lean methods and Six Sigma tools
