Product Development Engineer Duties:

• Develop new products, determine product specifications, and write technical documentation for existing products
• Develop strategies for new products and proceed accordingly
• Develop new products by looking at customer and market needs and by conducting market research
• Test existing products and revise them as necessary
• Develop a knowledge of current and emerging technologies
• Provide technical advice and support to management, engineering, and production
• Design and oversee quality assurance programs
• Manage a team of engineers and technician

Product Development Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop and fabricate new products and test them for functionality and reliability
• Develop product specifications, including ensuring technical feasibility, performance, and manufacturability
