Job Brief:

We're looking for a Production Planner who is detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The Production Planner will be responsible for creating production schedules, coordinating with different departments to ensure that deadlines are met, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. If you are a motivated individual with great organizational skills, then we want to hear from you!

Production Planner Duties:

  • Review production schedules, receiving, material handling, and inventory control procedures, and suggest improvements
  • Ensure that quality standards are met
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality objectives for planning and execution of projects
  • Develop, maintain, update, and revise schedules
  • Develop, implement, and maintain workflow processes
  • Perform quality control inspections and record keeping
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues
  • Oversee construction scheduling, cost control, and project profitability

Production Planner Responsibilities:

  • Manage production scheduling, costing, and shipping including inventory, materials, and labor, and oversee daily and weekly production schedules and inventory keeping
  • Control costs by scheduling production, identifying waste, and reviewing material usage
  • Supervise warehousing, production, and shipping operations, and ensure smooth, efficient production flow
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control standards and procedures, including use of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Maintain and update production schedule, usage reports, and other documentation
  • Assist management and employees with basic business functions such as accounting, payroll, and benefits
