A program administrator or program manager is the individual who is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing a particular project or program.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Program Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to juggle multiple tasks at once. If you’re a self-starter with a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you!

Program Administrator Duties:

  • Help develop and maintain project-related schedules, budgets, and organizational initiatives
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all administrative (e.g., payroll, human resources, facilities, security) matters
  • Develop, oversee, and enforce operational policies for all administrative functions
  • Create and implement new administrative processes and policies as the organization evolves
  • Maintain accurate, current, and complete records of all administrative activities
  • Plan and oversee all administrative staffing needs
  • Coordinate with administrative departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist with filing a 1099

Program Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Support a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, architects, construction managers, and project managers in assigning, reviewing, and approving project documents and deliverables
  • Maintain and update the Intranet-based project management database and project documentation system
  • Maintain and update project financial models
  • Perform administrative tasks such as issuing project change orders, issuing purchase orders, billing, and purchasing
  • Maintain project files, including technical reports and design documents, and maintain spreadsheets and databases
  • Perform other job duties as assigned
