Job Brief:

Psychotherapist Duties:

  • Establish and grow therapy practice
  • Provide psychotherapy to patients
  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients
  • Advise patients on short and long-term treatment goals

Psychotherapist Responsibilities:

  • Licensed clinical therapist
  • 5+ years’ experience as a licensed clinical therapist
  • Experience with working with families
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor clinical treatment plans
  • Ability to train other staff members on treatment procedures
  • Knowledge of providing psychotherapy to children and adults

Requirements And Skills:

  • Develop new and current clients using effective counseling techniques to provide therapeutic support
  • Perform intake and assessment sessions for new clients
  • Consult with clients, families, and professionals to determine treatment goals and methods of care
  • Advise clients on interpersonal, anger management, and self esteem issues
  • Follow up with clients periodically to evaluate treatment progress
  • Provide clients with referrals, supportive services, and educational resources as needed
