Job Brief:

We're looking for a Public Relations Assistant to help us with our media relations and communication strategies. If you have a passion for writing and media, and are interested in helping us shape the way the world perceives our brand, then we want to hear from you!

Public Relations Duties:

  • Assist with achieving overall public relations goals of the organization by implementing media relations strategies and by serving as liaison between the organization and the public
  • Assist with developing and implementing media outreach plans and following through on media coverage
  • Research and evaluate potential opportunities for communication
  • Work with media relations, marketing, and other departments to promote products and services
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with various media outlets

Public Relations Responsibilities:

  • A bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, English, or related field
  • 3+ years of public relations experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with social media, blogging, and video
  • Experience and knowledge of brand strategy, positioning,
