  • Create public relations opportunities and cultivate ongoing relationships

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop effective public outreach
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts

Public Relations Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Prepare press releases, reports, newsletters, and articles, and develop and maintain relationships with editors, reporters, and business decision-makers
  • Write and design marketing materials, including brochures, fliers, and posters
  • Maintain and update social media accounts
  • Be responsible for measuring and tracking social media effectiveness; monitor, measure, and report results
  • Present and promote company products or services at trade shows, conferences, and other events
  • Recruit and train new employees
