We're looking for a Public Relations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing PR strategies that build awareness and drive positive media coverage for our company and our products. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with key media contacts and influencers. Public Relations Intern Duties:

  • Coordinate all PR activities, including development of marketing, advertising, and sales promotional materials
  • Produce and distribute press releases and news articles
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners
  • Research and compile data on business trends
  • Negotiate relationships with newspapers, magazines, and other publications
  • Develop and maintain relationships with reporters, editors, and other journalists
  • Assist in the creation and execution of media strategies for the company
  • Research and report on market trends
  • Plan, organize, and direct PR activities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners
  • Research and compile data on business trends

Public Relations Intern Responsibilities:

  • Communicate company vision, mission, and values to both internal and external audiences through speaking, writing, and other methods
  • Analyze competitors’ business operations and strategies, and identify ways to build market share
  • Research and understand industry trends and needs
  • Develop and execute public relations plans, including strategic communications plans, budgets, and timelines
  • Develop and execute PR and social media campaigns
  • Create and manage web content, including SEO, social media, and press releases
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines
  • Track media mentions
  • Conduct media interviews, and negotiate/book interviews with both local and national media outlets
  • Produce, edit, and distribute all media materials
  • Create and distribute all company newsletters and reports
  • Assist with company media appearances and community events
  • Plan and host company events
  • Coordinate with human resources on employee communications

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or public relations
  • 4+ years’ PR experience
  • Experience with developing and executing media strategies and executing public relations campaigns
