Quality Assurance Manager Job Description

The Quality Assurance Manager, or QA Manager, is in charge of investigating or auditing quality issues within an organization.

A good QA Manager will ensure that an organization is meeting all necessary quality standards.

They will conduct audits and inspections of an organization to identify problem areas, and will then suggest improvements or propose solutions that will improve quality.

A good QA Manager, known as an internal auditor, will regularly examine an organization’s production procedures, equipment, and employees in order to identify potential hazards.

These potential hazards could include the presence of unsafe working conditions, employee mismanagement, or inadequate safety standards.

Job Brief:

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who is passionate about their work and takes pride in ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of quality. As our Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading our quality assurance team and ensuring that all of our products meet our high standards. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance plans, conducting quality assurance audits, and working with our team to resolve any quality issues. Quality Assurance Manager Duties:

  • Manage and maintain compliance logs, record inspections, and conduct audits and follow-up on corrective actions
  • Promote, support, and implement quality strategies and policies
  • Train, coach, and mentor employees to foster a professional work atmosphere
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality processes and procedures
  • Monitor and report performance

Quality Assurance Manager Responsibilities:

  • Supervise quality assurance activities and programs, including project planning, scheduling, and staffing
  • Develops quality strategies, plans, and procedures, and provides quality assurance training, mentoring, and technical guidance
  • Maintains a QA database, maintains project-specific quality documentation, and conducts customer surveys and feedback
  • Acts as the technical liaison between customers, subcontractors, and construction teams
