A quality control manager (QC manager) or quality engineer is an employee responsible for quality control issues within a company or organization.

The quality control manager may be responsible for developing and enforcing quality control standards, managing and overseeing quality control personnel, evaluating quality control issues and testing, and investigating quality control issues.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for Quality Control Manager to work with our team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures, testing products, and overseeing the work of quality control inspectors.

Quality Control Manager Duties:

  • Actively monitor for compliance with company and industry standards
  • Manage and oversee inspectors to help ensure compliance with regulations
  • Monitor completion of projects
  • Oversee and manage site safety to ensure projects are completed in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records on all work
  • Maintain confidential records and reports
  • Oversee and compile project data
  • Enforce policies, procedures, and standards
  • Develop and support staff training programs
  • Supervise personnel, ensure quality control, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Develop and organize procedures
  • Maintain compliance with the safety regulations
  • Monitor and report on project progress
  • Supervise the construction team

Quality Control Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control plans throughout the project
  • Review and control architectural and structural systems, and ensure that all plans and specifications are complete and accurate
  • Review project sites, interact with project stakeholders, and review drawings and specifications
  • Ensure that contractors maintain accurate records, and submit timely payments and required certifications
  • Provide project feedback to architects, engineers, and other project team members
