Radiologist Duties:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as x-rays, MRI scans, and CT scans; perform and interpret diagnostic ultrasound tests.
  • Maintain patient records and history of treatments and progress.
  • Maintain radio-graphic equipment and test prints.
  • Treat patients in hospital and outpatient settings using radiation.
  • Perform educational outreach and presentations.
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments as directed by a physician.
  • Perform various administrative duties.

Radiologist Responsibilities:

  • Specialty training and board certification in radiology
  • 2+ years of experience as an MRI technologist
  • Knowledge of MRI and CT equipment
  • Discusses treatment plans and procedures with patients
  • Offers patients advice regarding pre-surgical work ups

Requirements And Skills:

  • Review, interpret, and report imaging studies
  • Perform quality control of diagnostic imaging exams
  • Read and interpret studies from all types of radiologic technology, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Bone Densitometry, etc.
  • Perform pre/post-procedure imaging studies
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic X-ray exams
