A real estate assistant assists the broker or agent with daily tasks related to real estate transactions.

A real estate assistant may perform clerical and administrative duties, coordinate showings and open houses, schedule appointments, as well as provide information to clients and clients’ representatives.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Real Estate Assistant who is organized and detail-oriented, with good communication and customer service skills. The Real Estate Assistant will work closely with the Real Estate Agent to help manage and grow the business. The right candidate will be a self-starter with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Real Estate Assistant Duties:

  • Assist with property acquisition and disposition, including search, selection, and evaluation
  • Conduct visits of prospective property for prospective buyers
  • Screen prospective buyers for credit and other criteria
  • Perform administrative tasks related to property acquisition and disposition
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Real Estate Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Co-author property listings, perform market research, develop online listings, prioritize tasks, and track sales goals
  • Perform administrative duties including answering phones, preparing business correspondence, and scheduling meetings

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, related field, or business administration
  • Experience in commercial real estate sales, leasing or development
  • Strong knowledge of office, industrial and retail real estate
  • Proven ability to proactively solve problems in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
