Real Estate Broker Job Description

A real estate broker is an individual or company who acts as a go-between for sellers and buyers of real estate.

A broker works with sellers and buyers to negotiate the purchase of a property.

Real estate brokers are typically paid a finder’s fee.

Over time, brokers have become licensed.

This licensing allows for brokers to work on behalf of clients, in addition to acting as a go-between for sellers and buyers.

Real estate brokers provide two main types of services.

The first type of service is known as brokerage.

Brokerage involves the broker acting as an intermediary, who works with buyers and sellers.

The second type of service is known as selling.

Selling is the act of promoting a property to potential buyers.
