A real estate manager is an individual or firm that manages real estate for an owner.

We’re looking for a Real Estate Manager to join our team and help us grow our business. Real Estate Manager Duties:

  • Manage a residential or industrial rental portfolio, ensuring all leases and tenants are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Manage the leasing and occupancy process, including screening potential tenants, establishing lease agreements, and handling lease renewals and evictions
  • Provide assistance to tenants and landlords to resolve disputes
  • Research market conditions to ensure best possible rental rates and maximum tenant occupancy
  • Negotiate leases and navigate lease terms

Real Estate Manager Responsibilities:

  • Participate in property marketing activities, including creating and updating property marketing collateral, scheduling appointments, attending open houses, and securing new tenants
  • Prepare lease renewals (if applicable) and handle lease and lease renewal negotiations, including preparing offer to lease documents, performing market research and analysis, and issue surveys and market reports
  • Maintain tenant relations, including responding to tenant requests and contacting tenants regarding lease or maintenance issues
  • Perform rent collections and accounting for all revenue, and direct and oversee lease compliance processes
  • Conduct annual property inspections, including verifying compliance to leases and the Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Assist in lease renewals and asset management
