We’re looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of refrigeration systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair issues as they arise. Refrigeration Technician Duties:

  • Maintain customers’ refrigeration systems
  • Inspect system components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, fan motors, fans, and expansion valves
  • Inspect tubing, connections, valves, and pumps
  • Replace seals, gaskets, and bushings
  • Re-assemble system components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and pumps

Refrigeration Technician Responsibilities:

  • Provide service to commercial refrigeration systems, including installing, servicing, repairing, and replacing parts; participating in preventative maintenance schedules; and performing minor calibrations
  • Perform system checks, system troubleshooting, and refrigerant recovery
  • Perform electrical and gas system troubleshooting
  • Maintain records including daily service logs, refrigerant recovery reports, and service records
  • Research and resolve complex system problems
  • Complete assigned paperwork and forms
  • Conduct safety inspections, including proper use of personal protective equipment, and verify that safety regulations are followed

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical area
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial, residential, and food service equipment
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing refrigeration equipment
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing
