Residential Cleaner is a person who cleans residential homes or flats.

Residential cleaners provide cleaning services to private homes or apartments.

Job Brief:

We're looking for a Residential Cleaner to help us keep our homes clean and tidy. We need someone who is reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented. If you're interested in this position, please send us your resume and a list of references.

Residential Cleaner Duties:

  • Ensure all homes and apartments are clean and well-managed
  • Assist in the weekly cleaning of apartments, common areas, and public areas
  • Maintain records of cleanliness and sanitation in logs
  • Maintain records of all cleaning materials used
  • Ensure all residents have what they need
  • Organize a cleaning schedule and adhere to it
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Assess cleanliness of residents’ apartments on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
  • Clean bathrooms and kitchens
  • Clean floors, windows, and chairs
  • Ensure all trash is removed
  • Coordinate with property managers to ensure building is clean
  • Verify clean linens have been provided
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Help with maintenance work as needed
  • Assure daily tasks are accomplished in a timely manner
  • Track and report all maintenance and cleaning issues

Residential Cleaner Responsibilities:

  • Prepare homes for prospective tenants, including deep cleaning, staging, and minor repairs as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms
  • Clean laundry, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, as well as the exterior of the building
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with all regulatory and company policies and procedures, using personal protective equipment, and cleaning up any hazardous spills or debris
  • Provide outstanding customer service to tenants, residents, and vendors by greeting them and answering their questions
  • Use effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to create and maintain effective relationships
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
