A residential counselor is a person assigned to supervise the whereabouts of a youth who is confined in a residential facility or court-monitored placement.

A residential counselor may supervise youth placement in group homes or foster care placements.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for Residential Counselor to help our residents with their daily activities and to provide support and guidance.

Residential Counselor Duties:

  • Assist clients with their home purchase or sale process, from finding properties to closing, by being knowledgeable about the area
  • Work with real estate agents, lenders, and other professional representatives
  • Keep abreast of local market conditions
  • Help clients determine an appropriate sales price for their home
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients

Residential Counselor Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with homeowners regarding complaints, service issues, and general inquiries
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, tools, and vehicles
  • Research and troubleshoot issues and concerns
