RF Engineer Job Description

A radio frequency engineer is a type of engineer who is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining radio transmitters and receivers.

Engineers in this field are responsible for planning, designing, testing, and executing radio systems, as well as ensuring that systems work optimally.

After an initial design, engineers in the radio frequency field will test their design by using a device called a spectrum analyzer.

These devices provide an accurate picture of the frequencies being used, and the analyzers will reveal any interference.

Engineers will then work to adjust the frequency, or adjust the device that created this interference, to try to fix the issue.
