Senior Consultant Duties:

  • Ensures that corporate goals and client needs are successfully achieved
  • Assigns and monitors consultants, ensuring that they adhere to the company’s quality standards, and that their skills are used effectively
  • Ensures that consultants time, workload, and priorities are properly balanced
  • Assists in the development of consultants skill sets and on-the-job experience
  • Provides guidance to mixed teams of consultants and employees

Senior Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Attend sales calls and take orders, including processing payments, preparing proposals, and scheduling installation
  • Create and maintain construction documents, including new architectural and enclosure drawings, proposal outlines, and meeting minutes
  • Review architectural and enclosure drawings and specifications; develop scopes of work and change order descriptions
  • Perform field inspections, and prepare recommendations for change orders
  • Develop job schedules and pricing
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor selection
  • Coordinate and communicate with project team members
  • Manage project changes
  • Update CRM records
  • Maintain project files

Requirements And Skills:

  • Graduate of an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related field; or graduate-level coursework in civil engineering, construction management or a related field; or 3+ years progressive work experience in civil engineering and/or construction management
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with civil Engineering
