Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Server Assistant who is passionate about food and service, and who is excited to work in a fast-paced environment. The Server Assistant will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, taking and fulfilling orders, and keeping the dining area clean and organized. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Server Assistant Duties:

  • Serve customers by providing prompt, courteous service and taking food and beverage orders from them; delivering meals, beverages, and coffee
  • Obtain food and drinks from kitchen, fridge, or cupboard and prepare them according to guest requests
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests, servers, and kitchen staff
  • Serve food to guests promptly and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of station, ensuring that all tableware, glassware, and utensils are clean and stocked
  • Assist in the execution of opening and closing duties, including the following:
  • Assure that all utensils are in working order.
  • Clean and restock all supplies.
  • Communicate with guests.
  • Assist in bussing tables, as needed.
  • Assist in cleaning dining area, as needed.
  • Compliment guests, servers, and management, as needed

Server Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Serve food, beverages, and food-related items within restaurant
  • Assist with setting tables, placing orders and collecting payment
  • Process payments and table side orders
  • Monitor the cleanliness of restaurant
  • Take food and beverage orders
  • Arrange for side work, special events and parties
  • Decorate tables
  • Monitor and record food and beverage inventory
  • Assist with opening and closing the restaurant
  • Answer phones
  • Assist with busing tables and cleaning tables
  • Clean tables before, during and after the guests have finished eating

Requirements And Skills:

  • Proven Customer Service
  • Must be able to handle pressure during peak periods
  • Must be open to working late nights
  • Must be available to work 7:00am-11:30pm
